Comparison of Putting Greens Constructed with AirField Systems and USGA Design
Kevin McInnes and James Thomas
Texas A&M University
A Comparison of water drainage and storage in putting greens built using Airfield Systems and USGA methods of construction researched at Texas A&M.
After an extensive five year study coordinated by Texas A&M University in conjunction with the USGA the lab confirmed what our customers see in the field:
AirDrain is an incredible performer. Holding up to 3 more days of plant available water that can be utilized by turf roots creates a nearly perfect perched water table. Combine that with the root gas interchange available through the AirDrain void space, and you have the strongest plant roots, the healthiest turf, and a drastically reduced watering and maintenance schedule.
Take it from the leading experts in agronomy representing decades of turf excellence – AirDrain Agronomic Natural Turf Drainage is the superior drainage system to build your field on.
