Synthetic Turf Rooftop Sports Field and Water Harvesting in Venezuela
Escuela Campo Alegre requested a system that could capture, store and reuse the storm water and irrigation that passes through the field. AirDrain by AirField was able to deliver just what they asked for with it’s water harvesting capabilities the school installed an 80,000 gallon water tank directly below the field that will capture and reuse water for school facilities, irrigation of existing landscape, and to cool down the field during the hot summers.
With new and innovative technologies consistent with the schools mission AirField was able to bring to the children of Escuela a synthetic turf athletic field that requires zero rubber infill. With the AirDrain Geocell layer located directly beneath the synthetic turf the children will enjoy consistent playability due to the AirDrain drainage layer’s constant never changing G-Max (measures surface playability in natural grass and synthetic turf athletic fields).
Escuela Campo Alegre is a model N-12 international school offering a US style educational program of scope and quality consistent with that of US private schools and outstanding international schools, delivered in the English language.
