Golf Bunker Drainage Installed Hard Rock Casino

AirDrain Bunkers Drainage Installed at the Hard Rock Casino Cherokee Hills Golf Course in Tulsa Oklahoma in 2011 Update bunkers performing flawlessly!

 

AirDrain installed in 28 Golf Bunkers at The Hard Rock Casino Cherokee Hills Golf Course in Tulsa, OK. Installed with AirField Systems AirDrain and a 3,000 sqft. green to be expanded to 20,000 in their nursery for replacement turf on their Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

Designed by renowned golf architect Perry Maxwell in 1924, the course at Cherokee Hills Golf Club is rich in Oklahoma history. Recently redesigned by Tripp Davis, proven to be one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the state.

John Carothers, Course Superintendent choose the AirDrain System for their recent golf bunkers renewal project after hearing about the AirDrain’s performance from Travis Levings, Superintendent at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater Oklahoma a Tom Fazio design.

Since installation in 2011, the AirDrain Golf Bunkers have weathered many heavy Oklahoma rainfalls. The key to the AirDrain’s performance is providing 1″ of air below the sand profile allowing gravity to work on pulling the moisture through the profile.

John said “After heavy rains I send my groundskeepers to check the golf bunkers on the course and repair where needed, but we never have to stop at the AirDrain golf bunkers. I know they’re not holding water or washed out.”
